So often we are asked for help or advice…this is an honor to us and we appreciate the feelings of the artist for we understand only to well the trepidation of the moment when you ask of another, help guidance or opinion…what we can offer is here in summed up…our friendship and time are always available…we are here, we can be a support to help you stand but we can never be a crutch…today you may be a stranger…remember you are but one smile away from being a friend…

We all see through different eyes yet our masterpieces should all be seen through the same set of eyes… if twenty people from various walks of life look at the artist creation and 15 or more see or feel what the artist intended it is a masterpiece. On occasion I’m among the 5 people and not the 15 hence I must admit to knowing nothing about art. What I know is heart find the muses of your life and the enthusiasm you share will push you to greatness. The gift of a doctor is life the gift of an artist is immortality. Your mind, and heart speak through your hands and those words last forever…

Your success lies in you and you alone another will guide you, inspire you and open doors for you but in the end only you can walk through those doors. Money can not be the muse of creativity…if you are an artist you must create the work… it will exist because it has no other choice …it represents the highest highs or lowest lows the deepest love or darkest despair, it is the purest expression of all that is mankind.

Often we are asked for advice or help that I can accept and when earned by effort it is a pleasure to watch someone blossom and realize that you may have encouraged greatness…when asked to critic works we must decline for no eyes can truly look upon another’s deepest expression of emotion with full understanding…what I appreciate is based on my experience and until I’ve walked in another’s shoes I can only sit at the banquet table not tell them how to prepare the meal … ask for a muse we are here, ask for a critic and I recommend any of the thousands who have failed to speak with their heart… they always have an opinion…personally I feel silence is golden.

Our door is always open to anyone with a dream…and the heart to realize that dream. Our friendship is given to anyone who asks and is mutually earned between us for a lifetime. The past is always yesterday, it should only be remembered for its smiles our effort should be today and our thoughts tomorrow…

Renowned artists Brian Gazeley and Joseph Landry, along with Otis Smith, have been busy working on a plethora of new endeavours that transcend the visual and performing arts. This modern family divides their time between commissions in sculpting, music, film, and theatre.

Landry has been tirelessly working on 2 new theatrical projects focusing on the lives of Harry Houdini and Jack the Ripper, while putting the final touches on his musical epic, New York Live! He rounds out his days writing children’s books, songs and screenplays that will inspire the hearts and imaginations of his fans.

Smith has been busy working on his debut album, Be What You Were Born To Be, and as Landry’s Protégé with the composition, A Washington Symphony, which pays tribute to George Washington and his contributions to the growth of America. He is also slated to give life to Harry Houdini in Landry’s upcoming play Metamorphosis. Smith has been studying with Landry, an internationally acclaimed illusionist, to learn the illusions and capture the emotional rollercoaster of Houdini’s character.

Gazeley and Landry have also discovered Smith’s aptitude for sculpting and together as a family they are creating beautiful pieces . Their current focus is the bicentennial bust of Abraham Lincoln, which will be unveiled in February 2009. Their study of “Otis in the style of David” has also been getting a lot of attention and although their initial attempt was thwarted by faulty materials their dedication to this project has persevered. Another ongoing project of focus is the Faces of the 21st Century collection, which represents the renowned and acclaimed faces of our generation as well as the unsung members of society who effect our lives on a daily bases.

Together they are attempting to create awareness that love exists in infinite ways. The main messages of their collaborative works is the motto of their family: Love, when it is real, needs no justification.
