It’s been hurry up and wait kind of month….

Our newest family member “cuddles” had her first photo session I’ll post pictures this weekend; I’m living with my allergies and they are subsiding… she has never done anything like what she did for my birthday …its as though she knew and was loving beyond kissing and cuddling when morning came she woke me with purrs and head butts eye to eye on the pillow she cuddled her cheek to mine and then gave me a present … yes a mouse! The scream rivalled the eruption of Vesuvius her first mouse my birthday present…. our dog boomer gave us bones our monkey Munchie gave us bugs … but I draw the line at mice…. I made Brian clean out the whole room…. yes I’m sure I looked like Horton as a freaked over a mouse… yet when all was done, looking in her eyes I wish I had been able to accept her present with gratitude she was different for the rest of the day… the moral is easy no matter the gift if given with love it means as much or more to the giver than the recipient… so smile accept the love… and don’t re-gift it.. Bury it in the yard if you have no use…. We’ve been all over last month… New York and Washington had wonderful spring weather; I didn’t want to come back to Nova Scotia where yes upon our arrival it snowed TWICE! 2 trips I return to snow… maybe the time has come and its God’s way of saying good bye Canada? The sculptures for cape Breton are proceeding wonderfully, we have events in Washington almost daily from April 24th to may 6th a play in Moncton New Brunswick on may 14th that nothing will stop us from attending (even famous maritime snow) and then the directors guild in New York city on the 15-16 should prove to be busy yet fun weeks ahead. Because of our position of supporting human rights and gay rights we have had to accept that freaks and geeks will always threaten us so we are heeding advice and not publishing our schedule in advance ….you know the cities we’ll be in please don’t hesitate to drop a note and hopefully we can spend a bit of time with our friends and fans… as always we will have open house event for coffee at each destination and we’ll email you an invitation. All is well, I’m another day older and Brian and Billy got me the coolest gift ever!!! Its such fun I’m sure its illegal… and I will use it for the rest of my life… I’ll even get to share it with some of you over the years to come…. but I’ll never tell you what it is!!! Even mom said it was the most amazing gift and dad would have though he died and went to heaven if he had gotten it… I feel like a billionaire Jed Clammpet eat your heart out…. Also a thank you to friends who called and especially those who surprised me … first was Anne rice and Les, I was sitting in my underwear writing with a coffee unshaven, you get the picture when a knock on the door and there is Les and Anne…it nice to know my friends love me enough to spend a day with me when I looked like hell!! It was a wonderful surprise… followed by a great impromptu party …hunter ,Jo ,Kane and a group of friends flew in to kidnap us for the day …. It almost made turning 29 easy… Yes 29 it’s not that I’m lying about my age its just 29 is the last year I can easily remember so if you want to know the real age ask just be sure you have a calculator cause you have to count the years on the drivers licences … so cool my new licences has a picture!
