Today the 12,000 pound crown jewel of New York city rises to the sky at 1 Times Square the breathtaking new years eve ball will rise today to remain at half mast a top the 1 Times square building helping celebrate holidays through out the year with a spectacular light and video presentation the New Years eve ball now becomes a permanent part of celebrations in Times square.
When I first started writing New York Live at the Millennium celebrations in Times Square I hopped that the legends being created would take hold in the city and as the years pass my hopes and dreams fulfilled I never have to wonder why I Love New York …the city shows me every day why it holds my heart….
When your standing in the crossroads of the world look up and make a wish and if the clock strikes 12 or 6 on the hour close your eyes make your wish and feel the magic of millions of wishes coming true…believe …and anything is possible in old New York…
